It's true doe. Bikes cost so much now. There used to be so many stories of european farm kids picking up a bike and suddenly turning pro. These days, how is a farm kid supposed to pick up a bike??? 
And why do old rich folk ride their racing machines so slowly? XD XD XD

Ohh!
I should also add that my bike, even at retail pricing is under 3k. Still less than the Roubaix. I bought the 105 version. Do not need ultegra/dura ace. I do race doe XD 10 speed 105 good enough!

My bike was less than yours, and I'm no executive..
Not all of us can be mad Asian skinny doe...
My bike was less than $1300 after taxes XD Your wheels cost more than my whole bike!
You bought an R3 for less than $1300? I call BS on that...
Come to think about it, with the exception of Risky, all of your bikes cost more than mine (retail, no hookups).

Yeah I get hookups @ Cervelo bc a family member works there.
My track frame was less than 1/3 of retail price 
I dont think any 1 of my bikes (even retail) cost more than the roubaix. My stuff is either 105 parts or 1 gear. My most expensive bike is actually my cannondale, and that was 1450 from sporting life that thing served me well!

200km a week or whatever is not enough to be reasonably quick.

I honestly ride a pathetic amount.
I feel sad looking at the mileage I've done this year.
However, I do race my race bike doe :3
Did the toronto triathlon fest + tour de terra cotta.
The terra cotta race was SUPER RIDICULOUSLY FUN. CSI peeps should definitely consider it for next year.
