All of this hating on Wayne is beyond played out. It's been years. You know what you're getting with him. He's admitted as much. He's not going hardcore with the diet. He recognizes that he'll probably always be carrying more fat than he wants.

He also works his ass off (figuratively speaking) in the gym. He's got dedication, and no matter your views on his physique, you have to respect that. No, his bench isn't world breaking right now, but there was a time when that was true for all of us. For some of us, it's STILL true. My bench isn't very high, either, and I've probably been consistently lifting longer than Wayne has.

I'm not saying you have to LIKE what he's doing. But if you don't, what does it matter? This is his thread. He can post whatever he feels like. View it or don't. Like it or don't. I don't think he cares, really.

I just hate the needless hate. CAN'T WE ALL JUST GET ALONG?!?!

Wayne can get "in shape" if he wants... I got him down to 187 and he was on his way to getting an "aesthetic" look, but he found powerlifting, and adding strength was more important for him vs getting lean at that point...

I was disappointed he chose to stop cutting but hey, you gotta do what you want...

I consider Wayne a "friend", as we interact on other social media and seeing people talk shit to him, just to needle him annoys me... I mean there's "ribbing", and then there's just being a dick...

in case anyone is curious, the lifting fed I am going to participate in. USAPL, rules for the bench are. feet need to be flat, butt, back, and head must all be in contact with the bench throughout the lift, you also have to wait for commands.

The start command, the press command once the bar touches your chest, and then the rack command.

miss any commands, no lift, butt comes off of the bench, feet off of the floor, head off the bench, no lift.

Hating my body right now. Slow recovery, especially bench. My bench can't get back to normal fast enough.

When is your first meet? I had to postpone my first Oly meet. Might have to postpone my first Power also.

Just started benching 135# last week, lol. I tore some connective tissue in my shoulder/chest/bicep. Was doing dips with 3x45# plates on the dip belt.

The annoying thing was, before my injuries. I was strong enough to break all of the California State Powerlifting records by 20-50# each.

were you asking how much I'm benching or how much Jayson is benching?

I am benching around 3 times a week. My program starts off by peaking hypertrophy and then tapers off into heavy singles, doubles and triples for shorter sets and I'm sure there will be a peak week or two in these next 6 weeks and then a straight up and well deserved deload because my legs feel like doo doo.

I am currently tapering on down in my program.

Here is what the the last 6 weeks have looked like and the 7th week is what I'm doing this week.







We've also decided to just keep my weight up at 215-220 and build off of that for a while instead of trying to fight the gains by dieting down to 205 while intensifying the training.

A lot of things will be removed mainly on the 5th day and subbed with more bench, ohp, or general accessory work as I feel the cleans and turkish getups were more for fun than actual purpose.
