Which is interesting, because the portfolio is usually the first thing a prospective client sees. (Counting repeat clients as a special case) So make sure your portfolio is representative of your style, and don't include dumb shit that simply illustrates "I know how to do this technique" if it's not a cool shot on it's own. Example. I don't have any interior shots of cars in my portfolio. But I can shoot interiors. I just leave those out because they don't (usually) have the same kind of visual impact as a cool exterior hero shot.
