When i used to work on porsche gt3 rs's i noticed something on the driver's side front and rear that looks very much like a ride height sensor that comes with some air management systems. these sensors are wired to the bottom of the shock. there is another wire at the top which connects to porsche's dampener management system. this sensor helps the shock compensate the weight of the driver(s). (probably using magnetic filings in the shock itself to stiffen or soften the ride depending...) there are no sensors on the passenger side.
So my question then becomes,
If you are the only person who normally drives your car, say 90% of the time, wouldnt it make sense to set the drivers side a click or two? (or more depending on the level of adjustablitity of your damper)
[ of course there are some exceptions for cars that are counter balanced with the driver in mind, but really, how many of those cars exists! My car is actually perfectly counter balanced if i were in japan where the driver sits on the right! lolz As it is, my gas tank has a left side bias, and the battery sits on the left front of the car, and the driver's seat itself with all the motors for adjustment is a bit heavier than the passenger seat which doesnt have as much adjustability. ]
