Replaced the stock clutch stop with a new one from BMS. Way better now. Fucking BMW does NOT know how to make a good manual.
Now if only I could shoehorn the s2k tranny into the M. that would be a winning combo!!!
I woulda swore you told me a few times that you thought the s2k is a high revving pos?

Wtf does that have to do with the tranny? The S's 6spd is one of the best
the car itself - fewl.

Never driven a STI. My dads 997 has a fantastic 6spd too. The only good thing about the M's tranny is the clutch. It is light and the engagement is quick. Your dad has all the cool cars. TT, 997, S2K (or is it sold?)
S2K was sold a couple of years ago. He liked it at first, but grew tired of it lacking power on the low-end.

gd sti > gr not that hard to work on really Dunno about STI, but on a wrx dealing with turbo inlet pipe requires removing a maze of vacuum lines or removing the intake manifold. And doing plugs on it is fun because of the clearance, no?
He is trolling, not too long ago I helped him help a friend (from here) change the suspension on a WRX, rear seats had to come out, speakers, WTF is this b.s. just to swap out suspension. PITA AND A POS. Even my M3 is 10x simpler. A hammer a chisel and the whole thing is apart.

Wait no, I did suspension on a wrx too and doing all the things you described. That is easy peasy bc at least you have clearance to do stuff. But having engine heads facing the sides of the car is not cooooool!!!!
BTW IIRC E90 also requires going into the back seat to do rear struts.
