My piriformis is stiff as a board. Got massage and active release done... hurts so good.
Accuball is your friend Sir.

Just put on some dragon jerseys and you will fit right in.

Forgot to mention, on my way back I took woodbine bypass and the chinese road bike club guys were taking the same route, two got tired and started walking on the sidewalk and pushing their bikes. THe headwind was pretty cray I think I was averaging like 14kmh on flat surface

LOL! THIS IS WHY I MUST NEVER ASSOCIATE WITH AN ASIAN CYCLING CLUB!
dafuq!!!!!!!! Their bikes were probably worth more than some cars too @.@

Walking with a bike is simply unacceptable! I'd rather wimp out and ride the granny gear! But fortunately, I don't even have that option bc more harder, more better, more opposite of the chinese cycling club!

I'm sure it's money well spent. I hear aero wheels and carbon frames are much easier to push than cheap wheels and aluminium.

Haha.
And Wayne, if your piriformis is bothering you, I wasn't joking about the Accuball.
Put the ball on the affected side, put that leg so that the ankle is resting just above the knee of the other leg and roll around. If will help things immensely and then you'll be out again.

ha dude my piri is faawwwk, along with other tight muscles in my hips and legs, plus lower back...it's retarded how they sore they get sometimes. ie. to the point i get a headache from them after it's worked its way up my back to neck. \:\( the guy at sutherland chan can't believe it sometimes lol.

anyways, yeah i have a foam roller but also harder massage "balls" to just dig in and 'melt' the pain away. use some heat, that can help...oh and epsom salt bath too. i'll take advil which seems to help a bit. i've tried naproxen whcih makes a marginal difference with the pain/tightness. any off the shelf muscle relaxant does shit.

In addition to Screamin's epsom salt baths and heat therapy, he also likes to light candles and have Kenny G playing lightly in the background. Eucalyptus is his scent of choice.

I got brushed by the mirror of a honda pilot today, that was a cool experience. 100% my own fault.

I was in the right lane near the curb approaching a red light with a ton of cars backing up the lane. I darted over to the left side of the lane to lane split (couldn't get through between cars in right lane and curb) and as I made this move this pilot was right there changing lanes from the right to the left as well. I felt bad for the lady, she thought she had killed me. I am a dumbass.

Yeah that's the thing. Gotta watch for lane changers when lane splitting.
Lane splitting on hwy7 is a sketchy proposition \:\)
Glad you made it out alive and didn't piss anyone off with that contact.
