I've seen a bunch of people riding on Hwy 7 going westbound, seems safer than 16th. I have the choice of 16th or Major Mack and I always take Major Mack even though 16th speed limit is 60km now.

I'm totally cool with 7am.
Can we get a count of who can swing 7am?
Jason, was that some trepidation I'm sensing from you? Too early? XD

If everyone can kind of swing it, and Travis can make it...then we should do 7am

Anyone know a trick to tighten this thing? It was uncrewing slowly as I was riding and it almost fell out. I have it hand tightened now, but that probably won't last long:

The one on the outside or the one on the inside?
Inside bolt is an allen (8mm IIRC) which holds the crank arm to the bottom bracket.
The external one is just there to make removing the crank arm easier (it allows the inner bolt to back up against it and serve as an integrated crank puller).

If your outer is falling off...i dunno.
Take it out, loctite it and put it back in? Is it splined on the inside?

So the legendary vas showed his face this ride! Turns out that he isn't just a sprint interval whacko, but he knows a thing or two about climbing. Below is results from our biggest climb on the ride!

Also got to meet fatredcircle today. Our group is decisively Asian though... Need more diversity--Wayne!

Jason and the other guys weren't even trying...hence why I look like I did something. Let's be real.

Now who was fatredcircle?

It was awesome being the only white person in a group of like 8 Asians lulz, good group for sure. Off topic: I also saw Henry driving back on 16th after.

Good ride, I had a great time I wish I didn't have to shit halfway through and also good thing Jason convinced me to keep going, before Aurora rd I was ready to turn around and throw in the towel, not realizing we are about to turn around.

Also the one asian guy I was following on the way up, I hope he is cool because I started swearing at this moron in a Lexus that was driving right beside me and couldn't make up her mind to either pass or what so I started swearing and I think that guy might've thought I was swearing at him

With Vas cycling it felt like we were in the pro tour, we always need a Russian!

I was wondering what was up with the Lexus too... I think they had no idea what they were doing.

If there were 8 asians there had to be at least 2 that were wearing aero helmets.

and to defend ourselves... me and nick just finished a section of sprint catching up to the main group =P and the hill was just when we caught up.
Although I knew you guys were also just chilling before the hill haha
Next time, it's on! \:D
This is the "Chicken Parm" segment which is the road leading to and including the hill =P

Ya dude if it's flat, I go slower. Thus the speed in your screen cap lol jk. This bike and ratio makes me wish for gears. I really like the cervelo soo much more Fark. Ps Robb, we saw mad Asians with deep section cf wheels all in a group going jogging pace. Ftl. The csi group is way stronger than the Asian baller club

http://www.bikeradar.com/fitness/article/technique-how-to-flatten-even-the-steepest-of-hills-23531/

Good article on hill climbing. But I'll save you the effort.
Cliff notes:

1) Find hills. Ride them.
2) Find steeper hills. Ride them. Repeatedly.
3) Find hills so steep that you don't think you can do it. Ride them--on single speed.
4) Find hills that are so tough that you want to barf by the end. Ride it, do it again...and again...for 90 minutes.
5) Sitting is more efficient than standing. Standing excessively is a sign of a lack of power. Something about this not working. But then it talks about Lance...so color me confused.
