Sold the m3 yet? The current daily beater bores me and I could use something fun to drive to work in the winter. \:D

LOL WINTER?! NO WAI!
M3 IS NOT GOING TO SELL TO YOU! XD

Nah, it's sold already to a relative....who will drive it as a summer car (thank goodness!). Phew. However, I think my dad is looking to sell his M3 (E36)... if you want a beater, his is a beater. lol.

From the pic it doesn't look that bad, just the hood is misaligned which is a common issue. The "pins" that hold it down usually come loose over time and need to be adjust/re tightened, my car had a similar issue. It's a 2 minute job with a flat head.

The eyelids need to go, seems like some mods have been done. Post more pics.

I wish there were more still pics...which I can't find even one!

The car is rough man. It's solid mechanically, but body is not fantastic.
IIRC, 2 of the towers have torn through and have been re-welded by PO.

It's got a fake low rise LTW wing out back, and a really bad fitting "rear window spoiler"/visor thingy. Magnaflow cat back. Compression is fine on all cylinders--an even 196psi.

Yep all e60M are v10. Sounds hot, but doesn't feel like 500hp.

Agree on that front.
But I think anyone brave enough to track the heavy E60 M5 will see the short comings of the stock brakes \:D

as long as the rotors are big enough, you have some cooling and you have a good pad it would do the job.

just like the a civic set up or m3 set up is just fine. ignoring any size(heat capacity ) differences the designs of most floating caliper set ups are the same.

anyways I dont think many people buying an m5 track it or even care.
