Saw a really nice BMW (didn't know it was an M3 at this point) on the way to lunch today. He turned onto the road I was on which is unfortunately a pretty busy stretch in the town over from my own. We ended up at a light together. We coasted off the light and he took off so I followed suit. I don't know what 2nd gear ends at in the EVO but by the end of 2nd I was pulling hard, probably 3/4 of a car or a full car ahead. Kinda happened quick and wasn't paying too much attention once I caught up.
Figured he might be a dick but he rolled by, thumbs up and I returned the favor. Mine might be faster, but holy shit what a nice looking ride. It was graphite and looked more aggressive than I remember the new M3's looking. I won the "race," he wins the war, lol 
Anyway, funniest part of the whole thing is the car behind us. He pulled into a car wash, I noticed because when we slowed down I immediately looked in my rearview for a cop. Anyway, I came out of my bank and pulled back out onto the same road and he was sitting at the exit of the car wash, window down. He gave me some sort of signal to do it again, followed by a thumbs up.
T'was an interesting lunch!
