I did a few mods to the PTGT over the past month or so, KN drop in, improved intake manifold, straight through muffler and a canned Predator tune. Seemed to run good but it had an increasing stumble at WOT. Today I bought some NGK spark plugs and replaced the factory plugs. Factory were gapped @.055, I gapped the NGK's at .032ish. Also threw some Accel wires I had laying around on it.

I took her out and she pulled strong and smooth, just like an overweight SRT4 should. \:D

I'd be curious as to what she'd run at the track...one thing about the PT/GT, not too many kids got a hold of them. I think it's because kid's/young adults are impervious to groupthink and strive to be hyper-individualistic or something, but whatever....I digressed.

Not too many times out there, and a wide variety even from stock examples showing, in my mind, that those driving their cars at the track aren't necessarily top-flite drivers.

I might take it to the track sometime, I think it'd be fun.

FWIW I whooped on a V6 Mustang the other day, it appeared to be stick shift BUT it was not 2011 or newer. Guy driving was so mad, would not even look at me at the next stop light. heh

My guess would be somewhere in the 14s. I should get it to a real track.

Isn't the ratio of drag strips to people in Ohio pretty close to 1:1?
