Family headshots. I went to my cousin's 1 year old birthday party today and was taking pictures and generally fucking around later on. The sun outside was at the right height and was casting a very nice hazy glow since there was a thunderstorm rolling out of the area. Anyway, it got me to thinking when I edited the photos tonight, why not get some nice quality headshots of the members of my family, immediate and extended, to have for posterity? I have an uncle who now is dying of pancreatic cancer and probably won't have much more time to live. And my dad today told me he has to go in for a biopsy. Our mortality is starting to get to me a bit. I have a very large family and people are going to start dying off soon. Why not leave some nice photos of family members for the kids, grand-kids and great-grandkids, sort of like a visual family tree.... anyway, I like the idea, now I just need to get out and do it!
