To join the new milk bandwagon, I too went to the local 7/11. Finally...I've been counting down the hours.
Picked this up today XD

Debated between gen2 cayman, some random 911s and even e90 m3.
The test drive sold me on this car. This thing rooooooooockssssssssssssssss....the consumable cost will be high, but I will love every cent I spend on that stuff \:D

PS - no one seems to photograph this color properly. I'd like to say I metered it spot on XD

What? No P car, no happy? XD It's ok, my dad was pushing me towards the p car lol.

Why choose this over Cayman?

Cayman is an excellent car. A very competent chassis and feedback is superb.
However, I drove one and was underwhelmed by the motor. If I'm spending that kind of money, I want a car that excels over my E36 in every way--that is including the feel of the motor \:D Plus, maintenance is a bitch in that car. The closest thing I can relate a Cayman to is an s2000. They feel similar in how viscereal they are (though the s2k moreso), and power delivery is somewhat similar (read: gutless). The brakes on the Porsche were great though, as was visibility.

The mustang does *just everything* so well. I'm not a power guy, never was and probably never will be. I didn't buy this car for the "444hp". But it's such a large, heavy car that doesn't handle like you'd expect it to. The platform is sooooooo competent. You can throw it around like a rag doll and it'll hang on for dear life. It responds well to any driver inputs and you can make it do what you wish. That plus the sound of the rumble \:D Awesome. For the "experience" of driving a toy car, I'd say the Boss > Cayman. Everyday, and any day. Mind you, this serves as my track toy as well and I'd argue that the Boss is also> Cayman. Everday, any day \:\)

That and honestly...what's more unique? A dime a dozen 911s and caymans, or a random orange boss...which btw, I've never seen a Boss on the road yet.

I've never been a modern american car lover...but this car checks all the right boxes for me. Very, very good. I think anyone with the opportunity to drive/try one would agree. It's really astounding what this car can do. Ford did a crazy good job on setting this thing up.

Congrats.

First things to do - remove the stripes and swap out to aftermarket tailights to fix the lighting layout like this : http://www.americanmuscle.com/aerostyle-tailights-1012.html

Does yours have the fancy key that can be programmed for like a million extra horsepower?

Also, are you going to remove the exhaust cutouts?

Yup, got a track key which is already programmed, and baffles are removed.
Thus, it sounds glorious \:D

Car has Recaros and the helical lsd.

@Hatorade aint nothing wrong with the interior man. OK, the plastics are ugly. Howevery, anything you touch is excellent--seats, pedals, shifter, door cards, steering wheel. I wouldn't want to pay like, an extra 5 to 10k for nice interior either. The thing is for driving, not for feeling like it's the spa!

He'll is freezing over. In the past week, I've now seen two Chinamen driving domestics. In addition to you, the finance manager at the Honda dealership was an HK FOB named Mario who has a 96 Camaro. Lol.

Because it doesn't have a BMW or Merc badge on it.

It's not a car I would personally buy, but that doesn't mean it isn't a cool car. OP is having fun with it so that's good enough for me.
