Maybe next year, I really had no deadlift goals after 440 other than to rep it 5 times. 500 safely is a long ways away for me. I am in no rush for that number as I currently like my bicep intact. I might have the wheels and back for it but my upper body cannot support it.
Anyone ever deadlifted with a trap (hex) bar? Seems like a great way to deadlift in a more natural position where you can take a bit of stress off the back.

Trap bars are great, if you have access to one, it's a great way to build up your leg strength without compromising your back. I wish they had them in the gym.
