haah 30 reps of snatches at 70lbs is going to exhaust the fuck out of you. Don't forget you're doing burpee's with a target, that's annoying in itself. I don't imagine many people will make it through 20 snatches at 135. I seriously doubt even I would without seriously injuring myself.
The workout is stupid, I've chosen to pass.

congrats brotha, snatching that much weight fast requires someone who's very sound with technique, you can't muscle snatch 135-136 for 20 reps. You're just asking to get hurt.

142 reps for me Was hoping for 150, but damn I have never done power snatches that heavy after 70 burpees, lol.
Yeah, 135 was heavy as fuck. I'm not a strong guy by any means, good technique got me through this for sure.

Honestly I think it was a pretty brilliant workout. It equally punishes people who are good at bodyweight movements vs. the big strong guys, so the two movements together are a really good equalizer.

Not necessarily... You have to realize that if you think you have any shot at competing at the games, your minimum snatch should be around average 270lbs, back squat around 400lbs, and deadlift around 5-600, clean needs to be 300... these are all calculated by men who compete.
So if you want to qualify to make it to regionals you have to be able to compete with those dudes, so that's where the weights for the men come from. And people are punishing themselves left and right and a huge debate is going on about steroids right now since supposed testing is done, but who sees the results and what official athletic commission recognizes the cf games?
Really I hate to sound sexist, and I'm not sure what good weights for the women are, but I don't really think anyone gives a shit to be quite honest. As long as they're out there in booty shorts, and branded up looking hot. It's only when it comes to the games that the weights start to get heavy.

I would probably work on your pull, hang cleans as well to build up forearm and grip endurance, and push jerks.
A favorite of mine for strength building is every minute on the minute for whatever set amt of minutes you choose at 60-80 percent of your one rep. Whatever time left in the minute is your rest before going into the next set.
The other is death by x, which is a variation of death by burpees. We tried death by power clean at 135... worst fucking idea ever, I've never been so out of breath in my life.
It's similar to an emom, but you add a rep each minute. Whoever can't complete their reps within the minute lose.

Anyone do 13.2 yet? Did it this morning and 226 reps. Box jumps are definitely the limiter with this one.

13.3 was announced last night, and surprise, same as 11.4 last year. 12 minute time cap of:
150 wall balls 90 double unders 30 muscle ups
Did it this morning, got a much better score than last year. Made it to 2 muscle ups
