. especially tall guys...
thats always much more impressive especially if they are doing full reps.
all those midgets throwing up some heavy weight with 4" range of motion compared to the taller folks with long limbs having to move that shit 2.5 ft up

531 would be my recommendation. Can easily get in and out in 1 hour or less depending on how much accessory work you want to do.... 4x a week, even 3 if you want...
Legs I pretty much have covered, wouldn't mind a decent bench routine, and especially a lat building routine. Also as I mentioned a page ago, if I don't care about your opinion or input or dont respect what you have to say either I've just ignored you. So your conversation view is limited to other people with the same stupid opinions.

you make shit WAY more difficult than it needs to be...
i'll still be commenting on your stupidity but you certainly don't have to read it, it'll be entertaining to others though i imagine...

5-3-1
What happened to Crossfit?
I've been doing customized training for a while now, it's still crossfit but it was higher volume, more strength oriented for a while. A conjugate method to be exact. Did that for 8 weeks, then shifted over to a more HIIT training style. Lots of high effort for 20-60 seconds with 2-5 minutes rest in between sets with some light high rep skill work. handstand push ups, power snatches, etc.
The programming at my gym sometimes I feel can be lazy, before it was fairly challenging until it was split into beginners, intermediate, advanced. And even then it seems like the advanced training just is two things from the former thrown together.
Not that it's not challenging, but sometimes shit just doesn't make sense to me. Like doing ground to overhead (any means possible) at 80%, then the next day do clean and jerks for 15 more reps at 70%...
It's literally like doing back to back bench days after you wrecked your chest and tris on the first instead of mixing it up. And when I brought it to my coaches attention, he got a little butthurt and now someone is writing his training for him and I'm kind of on my own.
I'd like to focus on building some asthetic muscle, rather than continuing to being mediocre at just about everything. And focus on being great at something and being able to show that.
I really do like crossfit, but I'd like things I do to be a bit smarter rather than just doing whatever...

What does your trainer think?
He knows I was unhappy with his training, I may have mentioned it before that he has a torn miniscus. So the workouts kind of catered to him, there was never any front squatting, back squatting, squat snatches, overhead squats, etc
So he's doing his own deal. But I know deep down he's butthurt about it.

That sucks.
But, I think you'd have fun on the 5-3-1. There's enough flexibility in the accessory lifts that it's difficult to get bored with it.
