Hatorade isn't a label whore, although he does like nice things. Practicality is a major factor buying baby shit and sadly it does come at a price.

I've driven quite a few variations of trucks, especially Ford. The new F150 doesn't drive anything like the 1995 turds...but you wouldn't know as you haven't driven either.

The 1/2 tonne trucks ride pretty good, let's face it they don't do much towing/hauling duty 95% of the time. It's the 3/4 tonne ones with the beefier suspension that can get a bit bumpy.

just because I didnt watsapp you pics doesnt mean Ive never driven any.
besides some others Ive been in... you know my boss has a 2010/2011 right? dumbass.

hahah between you and John you guys crack me up so much

I didnt go in there looking to buy a $500 seat. I went in there to buy a seat on sale for $229 becuase the reviews it got was great and somone herehad the smae one.
Didn't fit in the Suzuki SX4 without the front seat being unusable. a store employee and i carried every seat out they had to test fit, and the only one that allowed a grownup to sit in the front seat was this one. (i think i have been repeating this over and over, never said anything about it being the safest)
A friend bought a Diono one, her front seat in her MAtrix was usless, and she spent $389 on it. And now becuase of that inconvience she has a tiny 1 year old forward facing (takes up less room) which is defintaly not as safe.
So she saved herself $50 and the setup is not as safe.
Again, when you have kids you will understand

Car seats are made for the comfort/safety of the baby only, everyone else in the car be damned. When I installed the two infant baby carriages, I went to one of those free car seat clinics sponsored by GM. I had my eldest front facing behind the driver seat and the two infant seats in middle and right.

Clinic guys were telling me they were not sure about having an infant in the middle due to the centre seat doubling as an arm rest for the two outside seats. So in their wisdom, they place the front facing in the middle and cram the infants on either end. Driving home I was kissing the bloody steering wheel cause the infant seat took up so much room in the back. When I got home I said fuck it and move the seats back to how I had it.

My point in this is what zc911 said, pretty much all seats are safe for the kids but a select few will have them work for everyone else in the car.

There are a couple different options:

1. Get a stroller and car seat that match. This is probably the more expensive of the two, but they'll fit together seamlessly. You'll need to buy a regular car seat once the kid outgrows the carrier.

2. Get a stroller that you want to keep as the kid grows, and buy any infant carrier regardless of brand. Since the carrier is only used for a number of months, get a Snap and Go stroller (used on Kijiji for $30-40) to pair with the carrier. Afterwards, you'd have to buy a regular car seat anyways. This option will give you more options as far as selecting strollers and carriers independently.

The snap & go was great for us, wish we bought it first instead of the huge Peg Stroller for our first kid.

Keep in mind that the Baby Trend Snap and Go will take MOST but not all car seats.

http://www.babytrend.com/strollers_snap-n-go/1305R.html
Accepts all Baby Trend and most major brands of infant car seats: •Baby Trend - 22 lbs & 30 lbs
•Graco - Snugride, Snugride 32, Safeseat
•Evenflo - Embrace, Discovery
•Peg Perego - SIP, SIP 30/30
•Britax - Companion, Chaperone
•Chicco - KeyFit, KeyFit 30

cool, didnt know there was a 'general use' snap n go type thing that took babyseats. i thought i still had to dish out cash for those bigass combo things.

the key thing for us is weight, she needs lightweight. i dont mind it either lol.

shit, im gonna start a business for these seats/strollers built out of carbon fibre & titanium

Snap and Go's are really like cause it's pretty much just a frame.

Too lazy to research. Is this small enough for rear facing without affecting the front seat?
