Awesome links will read/watch/study! Thanks! I wont be able todo the first one listed, the twist thing as my gym does not have a free weight bar (I may have one in my basement though!). The superman/and bird one will be a tough one for me as I am not so flexible and having had a broken femur def. makes some a challenge but I will give it my all! I am also going to pick up one those exercise balls so I can do a lot of that @ home before bed!

Also, now lets say I know my "core" is pretty strong, I know I have muscle there as some of it shows as I flex a little (mostly upper abs show) but still have belly fat. If I obv do cardio and cut down on the foods I eat (bad shit) and start to slim down, will this help to start to "show" better?

Cardio or not, it doesn't matter. The only thing that matters is eating less than you burn, however you burn it.

BTW, just knowing you have muscles in your core doesn't make them strong.

nothing currently except my normal routine of situps. but working with heavy stuff over the years has made an impact on it. i am not doubting you saying i don't as I don't know how to test this. i just feel like i have someone strong core.

Worst progression pics ever but Im still want to cut down a bit but keep the muscle. Taken in my elevator in my building haha. I have been eating wayy too much fast food and drinking too much beer. Cutting out all fast food, switching to water and skim milk for all drinks and for alcohol vodka/waters. Back to hitting the gym hard 4-5 times a week. This all just started up recently.

6ft1 192 lbs





I think if Im at 187 but lean I will be pretty happy.

this past weekend

it seems with riding i sit around 205-210 most of the time now - just trying to work on diet and get it at a steady 200 or even 190

for the record I'm 6'2"

I'd be pretty content if I was to lose another 15 pounds or so. That would put me at 170, which I think would be a good balance. Who knows though....once my Ironman training starts to ramp up late this year, I could lose even more.
