Thats just completely wrong. Maybe if you are riding low intensity outside. HIT spinning is second only to rowing, and hurts your body less.

I never in my life imagined that I would ever fit into a medium dress shirt from express and have room to move.

I felt like my xl's are just retarded big on me now, and the one L that I have also seems kind of huge.

For instance

If they didn't run out of larges for the particular shirt I'm wearing in the first picture I wouldn't of even considered trying on a medium, normally my arms don't fit or my back is too wide. But the new fitted shirts at express are pretty cool. They have the normal sizes like s,m,l,xl,xxl etc but will have a sub size for length. p(petite LOLOLOLOL), s, m, l, etc, etc.

So I'm wearing a M, M in the first pic. Also size 33 jeans, dick area was too tight in 32's although they fit my waist just fine.

I don't know man. I've been an athlete my entire life and right now one of the hardest workouts I can do is go out for a fast run. I fully believe that those athletes who compete on the national stage in Marathon are some of the fittest people alive.

'fittest people alive' is subjective, which of course you know, because we're all looking for a different kind of fit.

As far as burning calories and getting a return from your workout intensity wise, one cannot beat cycling unless your rowing (and then sprinting tops the list, I believe). Just info I'm regurgitating from doctoral studies.

I don't doubt Fast Running could beat it, actually, but you're adding qualifiers to the exercise. Fast enough cycling will match the fast running, although I do believe sprinting tops the list. Sprinting also, if I recall correctly, comes with a qualifier because of its high increased chance of injury.

Maybe I missed it, but are you trying to bulk or cut? It looks like you should bulk. You seem to kinda cave in your shoulders, are you doing enough pulling exercises to open up your chest and pull your shoulders back? It seems like your arms/shoulders might be taking over your movements. Do you have a back picture?

So I'm sitting here decompressing after prepping/cleaning for hosting Easter tomorrow and I'm commenting on how jacked OB1 is.

But seriously--dude--I don't want to hear you bitching about how much of a "small" guy you are. You're quite the opposite. Props.

As for peak fitness, I'd think Mr. Mom would say that someone who is able to run a marathon after swimming 2.4 miles and biking 112 might be in a hair better shape than a "normal" marathoner.

Also--pro cyclists are basically superhuman (not just because drugs). The speeds they carry for LONG distances are beyond my comprehension.

I don't think you are taking into account OB1's size... IIRC he said he's only like 160 pounds so in essence yeah he is a "smallish guy"... He keeps a good BF% though...

God damn. Seems like a quantum leap from the last pics.

Core is filling out/sculpting nicely and you've got some honest-to-goodness guns now!

Awesome work. Very impressive.

Thanks man. \:\)

I don't know about quantum leap, there is some growth from the last pictures I took a month ago (all weights are up so there has to be some growth) but the pictures this time are a little better so that helps a bit too.

Month ago...

Today...

About 1200cals a day...and I wasn't doing too many compound lifts...I was working the hell out of myself...to what is now considered improper training IMO....although I was lifting heavy, hard and often.

I had a ton of core work, albeit not compound work....tons of leg lifts, flutters, crunches etc....

That's awesome for 6 months. Of course I'm going to keep working on it, I'm loving it, though it's sucked lately with the leg pain and that crap but it's not a sprint I guess, have to take it slow.

It is a little crazy when I look at my picture from May 2011...

it doesn't take long to see a big difference when you go from being a lazy slob, eating whatever you want, whenever you want to training hard, and tightening up your diet...

Yep, I agree with that! On days like today, where it's my 4 week incremental update/photos, I'm always just a bit more careful in the days leading up because I know I have to come on here and be judged on my progress, so that definitely keeps me motivated. Thanks to everyone on the forum. \:\)

Welp wanted to get a pic up, took this after my shower. 207 here, but my morning weight will be 204, give or take .5...

Now my Withings scale says I was 18.9%... Frankly I feel I'm less than that, maybe 15-16 tops...
