Apex'i makes a nice i/c. PWR is killer for the price.

Full Race uses PWR cores with modified end tanks for the blowoff valve to be mounted on it. I would recommend this intercooler if you want to mount your blowoff valve on the intercooler. If not I only recommend Garrett/Precision intercoolers.

Make sure you have good motor mounts cuz if your motor moves at all with that back door/ BOV setup ur goin to pop off that silicone fittting everytime u boost and the fitting will got wore out and break.

That is why you use the flexi-joint silicone hoses between the turbo and the intercooler. But yea I can see that being the main drawback of such a setup. Then again, i can see that being the drawback for ANY turbo setup. In fact, I cant tell you how often I popped the charge pipes off on my old Drag3 setup. (Basicly once a day if you count the number of times it happened and divide by the number of days I drove the car with the kit.) I have yet to have ANY problems with the Vortech chucking a charge pipe.

You really can't beat the quality of both the PWR and Precision Intercoolers. Their air to air intercoolers will both make power. I made a 390whp at 10.5 psi with a 20x10.5x3 PWR Intercooler. That is the core size. I really don't feel you will see any real power difference with what brand you choose. It's all about the right combination of parts, just don't jump on some bandwagon.

I'm not trying to be rude but you guys still havn't answered my question. HAs anyone used the full-race intercooler? Is it a good intercooler? I know my goals so please dont go asking me how much money im willing to spend and whats my hp goal. Just want to know what do you guys think about the full-race intercoolers? Also, how does putting the BOV on the intercooler help instead of just putting it on the intercooler piping?

Allot of people swear by PWR intercoolers. They have had very good results with them too. Contact Geoff @ Full Race. He will give you an explanation why they place them on the intercooler.

Have you ben to the full-race forum? There's some Hondata logs that Javier put into Excel to make graphs. One is IAT vs. Speed (I think) and it shows how fast the intercooler does it's job. I was in the car for the test and it cooled the air FAST.

I would hope so, considering theres about zero space before the charge leaves the compressor into the i/c. I'd be more interested with how well it cooled it.

Nice quote BTW .
