... just want to pack up and leave. Stay in some shared accomodations for a while, build a nice house on the outskirts, and fill my backyard with cars.

Outskirts of a town. whihc town depends on whether or not i go out there alone or if the girlunit follows. If she does, we'll have to go to Calgary so she can be near the universities (soon-to-be professor).

If I go solo, probably a small rising town, along the lines of provost or something.

Welp, I may be going farther west than I thought. My sister's BF has family that works at Atlas Co. doing diamond drilling. He's trying to get me a job out in northen BC for $6k a month. I'm down for that, seeing how I have no ties here, or anything holding me back.

the shitty part about going to northern bc for 6k / mo is that the cost of living up there is rediculous. if you can arrange for 6k/mo + fly in/fly out camp job and then buy/rent a house somewhere a little more reasonable then you'd be set.

Where abouts in Northern BC? Fort St. John/Fort Nelson? Or more towards the west coast?

The camp i'll (hopefully) be going to is outside Kamloops. There's an option of either renting an apt in the city, or have them put me up in a hotel. I'd rather be in the hotel, cause that way I still get daily food allowance & free flights back home. If I get an apt. in Kamloops, that becomes my permanant address and i dont get to fly anywhere.

Update: Sister's boyfriend said he's going out there for sure in Jan, when the camp opens. Says "Yeah, you can come with."

So..... my days in Ontario are officially numbered.

I know that. the original plan was to go northern, but Kamloops is where his uncle is transferring to when the new site opens.

I've lost all lust for Nissan, thanks to thw 2 I've owned. In terms of reliability, cost, and overall temper of myself, I can't stand them anymore. Besides, I see more Skylines these days than All Tracs anyways. The All Tracs i've been looking at are also RHD.

And has the Toyota Reliability.
And has better looks over the Skyline.
And has more than 10% of shops that will actually look at the thing and know what they're doing.
And has a non-interference engine.
And isn't going to cost me $90 per damn brake rotor.
