*NEWLY RE-WORKED PICS AT BOTTOM*

Bobby came down from Purdue this weekend, and we got a lot of work done. I was hoping to have the ASR brace on, but the bolt in the subframe had other ideas about that. Anywho, onto the pics since yall dont care what I write here anyways...

Hope you enjoyed!

Running wider tires > dropping it to the point that its rubbing and the tires get messed up...

Function over form!!

And you have a wierd taste. You're the only person I know that prefers no fogs, 98 taillights and the stock civic mirrors over OEM fogs, 00 tails and CTR mirrors...

Are those DIY headlights on your car?

I'm not much of a fan of the darker look over the uber-sexy CTRs, but to each his own.

What kind of nav/dvd system are you running? The fitment looks absolutely perfect as if it came like that straight out of the factory.

damnit i have to see two pairs of wannabe ctrs in one thread, normally its bad with just one car alone

cars both look good, but bobby you know i ain't in the 17+ club anymore and would think that with your motor mods and so forth you might drop down to 15's or 16s and run maybe the new rotora "stock size" 4piston calipers or an nsx setup or something its ok, i wanna be first on the forums

I really like the FBP now, guess it was the first pics you took that didnt make it look appealing.

I would use the money for the ctr mirrors for ctr headlights..

Wanna be CTR's? My headlights dont look anything like CTR headlights... they are completely different?

And blah blah blah about brakes and 17s... I've never seen an Si with my brakes before, not to mention my brake/rim combo, so I think its really unique...

And I heart my 7.5" wide volks that weigh less than Si's (And thats exactly why they're worth 1500, baellremoteuse.. )

Ricky, you're just jealous because you wish you had my brakes !! You're not balla enough!! jk jk

Yeah... those rims really do set off the FBP...

Ya know Matt, for as long as it took you to pick out rims (over a year of debate? ) you sure did a good job... almost makes me wish i went a different route on my car..

Nice cars... both of them. Great pics as well. It's getting more and more rare that I see well done Si's in person anymore. The majority of ones I see around here are either bone stock or riced out.

Apc projectors??? did they look like your lights? <333 jk man... i don't need no stinkin brakes anymore... to be honest i drove a set of the new stock size 4piston calipers with a set of just oe replacement powerslot rotors and it really felt like my old setup with the 13inch rotora's

Thats cause they were rotora's

And do you think type x's lights look like an APC product too?

they look more uniform... the headlights came black... they are slim... and i haven't really seen a "japanese" 06+ headlight... so i can't call mikes "wannabe's".. not to mention the 06 doesn't come with a bling bling chrizome headlight and then it was painted a flat color

for your knowledge... ive had w-wood, brembo, ssbc, and rotora kits.. i love the brake power but i don't have the lifted truck syndrome... so i don't need to make up for something i don't have

In Bobby's defense I never really liked the look of his headlights in pictures on here, but after seeing them in person a few times they actually look great.

Agreed, the last time I was in Cupertino I saw this EBP civic with a set of TE37's and a m00gen front lip, he thought he was all hot shit driving around with his rsr exhaust, but we all knew he was a little racerboy who thought he was way better than the other ones. We all got a good at that dude.

Amen to that... an EBP showed up to the auto-x we were at yesterday, and it had altezzas, APC projectors, and was on stock suspension with some cheap slicks on old school CRX wheels... horrible driver too

You're comparing guys who modify their cars with quality parts and for functional reasons to people who modify their cars to "look cool" with altezza's and non-functional projectors. It's completely different. Just because we modify our cars does not mean that we should be classified as "little racerboys", and it does not mean that we think we're "better".

You keep on making fun of Volks. Pick up my 17's, and then pick up any other set of 17's, and I'll gauruntee for 90% of the rims on the market, mine are lighter. Hell, my rims weighed less than the stockers. Theyre also forged, and they are stronger.

You = delusional. Your rims most likely perform equal to stock rims. If not, the difference will be negligable thanks to their rotational mass. All you did was make your profile tiny. I find it funny that you bought 17" wheels as a cosmetic upgrade, yet in spite of their beauty cannot lower your car to a desired level and you chalk it off to 'function over form.' Why did you buy JDM racing brakes? Why didn't you keep smaller wheels? Not for function thats for sure. To look cool? Roger.

You responding to this post on the 1st, after I got banned =

Werd. Forged wheels are soo strong, that both of us have bent a wheel.

And of course you're better then most of us. Cause you know, your mom didnt pay for your wheels, and you chose the correct ITR tranny, not the one geared so it revs at 5k on the freeway.

Mine were about 1350.00 with rails and sliders. I got them from www.on-trackperformance.com (if thats not the right link, just google the name and itll pop up) but I think they are DEFINITELY worth the money!
