Hello,

I'm from ontario and I'm on my way to BC but my trip was delayed and now I'm in Calgary for the night. If anyone would like to hook me up with some information on things to do in the city for one night. I found a couple of head shops but nothing to go with it. I'm on 17th Avenue, any recommendations for Hotels, food, bars and any other party favours PM me.

Thanks.

NM, sent to your PM.

Oilers game tonight Check out a few bars, watch the game. Drum and Monkey on 1st and 11th SW is a good place.

Hotels down MacLeod(sp?) are probably your best bet, they usually always have vacancies.

There is a fair bit to do in the city, it depends on what you like really.

Limericks(down macleod past glenmore) serves good pub food, and same with the drum and monkey.

Smugglers is just before limericks, and it is a great steak house, expensive.

Attached to Smugglers is a very good mongolian grill restaraunt, called Open Sesame.

Im basically going to tell you all the easy places to get too

Cruise up and down Macleod, that is always a good bet, for hotels good eats, and fun.

Thanks for the tips. I'll try them the next time through...except no Oilers games in August. lol

My friend and I ended up walking around the City most of the day and met some real niiice ladies and hung out with them all evening.

The City is nice aswell except the rain...always walking in the rain oh, and the "The Mustard Seed" is a interesting spot. If BC doesn't work out though I'd definitely spend more time in Calgary. We did stay on McLeod...we walked all the way from 8 st or 8 AVE...which ever one is further from Mcleod...Definitely in shape now.

So many womens!

No cruising Calgary yet, the Teg is parked for the month while I get settle in BC,if I decide to stay.

Two thumbs up to this city...although I only saw one nice car the entire time, a nice EM1...oh and what looked to be a Murciologo(sp...too tired to give a shit)

I've been in calgary all week, went to "Open Seasme" for dinner last night, wasn't too impressed but meh. Quiet night tho, stayed in and watched a movie with the woman.

lol. I didn't drive so i've been forced to walk for EVERYTHING and ask random people questions. That has lead me to ladies...and they are everywhere here. I found a goooooooooood one(I think). Smart and so hot.

I think the city is what you make of it. I always enjoy staying in an watching a movie...but that's not why I came across canada...meet new people and enjoy the mountains and new cities. Now that I'm meeting people...the Teg will definitely come back with me.

The Planatarium type mall I saw on the C-Train was AWESOME...wish I had more time to do a walk through.

Thanks again.

Did you drive to Calgary? If you did, come stop by in Thunder Bay for a drink on your journey back.

I just like it cause its cheap eats.

All the other mongolian grills around charge based on the weight of the bowl, before cooking, and they soak everything in water. Usually gets up to 20 bucks a meal.
