Can anyone give me a rundown on how the car insurance industry works in Calgary, Alberta? Anyone over 25 with a clear record and a Civic SiR or comparable what rates are you paying? What are my coverage options? Looking to relocate there soon.......

$50/mo or so with full coverage excluding glass. through wawanesa insurance.
i'm 24, they rate me as 25yrs old, we have 3 vehicles registered and insured with them, a civic, an accord, and a talon. as well as our house insurance, it all comes to a grand total of $215/mo
Jesus Christ. I wish my insurance was $215 a month for just my car. I'm 24 as well...

yeah that too.
insurance should go down now though too since the talon was rated as a sports car, i traded it for a 4dr but added some coverage. should be roughly the same, maybe a little less than before. i'm thinking right around the $200/mo mark.
I'm with Wawanessa as well. When I turned 25, I was driving a new Cavalier Z24; my insurance dropped to $1220 per year. Now I'm 27, driving an SVT Focus, with one claim on my record (vandalism damage) and am paying $1440 per year.
$250 comprehensive deductible $500 collision deductible $1 mil liability loaded policy including loss of use, depreciation, and glass.
