I've done a bit of searching, I know that the harness from the USDM engine will need to be used, along with the injectors and alternator. I heard that I would need to use the mounts and axles from the B16, is that right?
What about the ECU? Is there a sub harness that needs to be purchased to be able to use the JDM ITR ECU or will it just plug in?

The swap is not for myself, but I will be performing it and have never done a B series swap, just K series swaps. So i'm doing the research now to make sure it all goes over smoothly. Thanks for the information, i'll pass on the information so that he can get all the stuff ordered correctly.

hi i am currently doing the same conversion in the civic Si.,... so i will require the stock b16a2's engine harness for the coversion? I though i could utlise the B18c5 one?
You need to use the Civic harness. The Civic harness goes through the firewall to the ECU, the integra stuff plugs in at the shock towers in an integra. You can use an integra harness in 92-95 civics, but not 96+.

and the ECU part.. u can use you ECU provided that that they are both are the same generation OBD1 or OBD2... just a little note.. the later b18c7 type r motors come with on board immboliser which requires a genuine key..(can be removed though)
There is no OBD 1 TypeR ECU, there is OBD2a and OBD2b. some of the OBD2b stuff used the immobilizer, but not all of them, I want to say it was only the 2001 ECU's. You can also get away with running the p2t ecu (99-00 Civic Si).

I am also wondering if i need an alternator upgrade ?
No.

I am planning to use my b16a2 axels.. Do they fit?
Yes.
Quote:
cause u cant use b18c axels as the hub side is bigger in an ITR
True. You can do an ITR 5-lug conversion and use the axles or use GSR axles with your original hubs.

1 last question : Woudl the STD fuel pump and Radiator in a civic si hold up for a b18c5/7
Yes.

Alright good, the IAT sensor is actually already extended because It was on a charge pipe in my turbo set-up. This motor will be boosted, and I already have a p28 ECU chipped with uberdata for the time being, will have the basemap for a GSR be okay or will it not work because it has the civics wiring harness in it?

It was risky being a SS CAT because it could break. I went to the Acura dealer and bought a new gasket for the header/CAT connection.?????
