Think I'll add myself to the list. Had my greddy kit for about 2-1/2 years. Been on blue box this whole time until recently. Car has been set at stock boost the whole time until now.
 Setup:

 Stock B16
 Greddy 18G
 Full 2.5" Exhaust
 TurboXS MBC @9psi
 Hondata s200

   p.s. sorry for bad pic.

 Tuned at 9psi
 224.36whp
 172.65ft/lb tq

I've been searching for a downpipe upgrade for the 18G for quite sometime now. And it has been drawn to my attention that there is no way to upgrade from the 2" Greddy elbow and retain A/C. I needed to retain my AC so in the end, this was my only choise. 2.5" Flared to 3" Stainless downpipe with flex, I had this made with an extra o2 bung for a wideband o2 sensor. I will post pics again after I get my Kteller 3" exhaust. Oh yea, custom made @ spoolin performance

what size is your pipe? did you have fitment issues bolting up to the elbow. Spoolin already told me that it will bolt up, I'm just curious as to wether or not it really will.

Mines a 2.5". No issues bolting up to dp at all, however; I did take it to a shop to get it put on, because they had to weld my flange on the end for my cat to bolt up to. The only thing they had a issue was having to extend the wire for the o2 sensor to reach so it could plug into. I think the way it was made it had a slight angle on it so the wires needed to be longer.
So, other than that the no fitment issues at all fitting right up to the elbow bolt pattern. If yours is 3" it might be different. I do know its a tight fit between mine and my oil return line.

I'm running 8psi (with manual boost controller), type 24 intercooler, apexi bov, civic type r intake cam (I already had in the motor before the turbo), 310 injectors, 11lbs flywheel, exedy stage 1 clutch, greddy evo 2 cat back exhaust (stock cat still in place), and tuned in using e-manage. Results = 218 hp with 179 tq.

So far the exedy stage 1 clutch is holding up. Driving it around is no problem. And if I floor it while in 1st gear (even when on a roll), and between 6800-7000rpm on 2nd gear, it will spin the tires off the ground. But sometimes when I floor it while in 1st gear, I have felt the clutch start to slip after vtec kicks in. So I try to resist the temptation of doing this.

For those who are in CA and have this kit, any problems passing sniffer and visual? This is probably the only thing preventing me from going boost.

The kit new come with 2 replacement manifold bolts that clear the hump of the 2 center manifold runners. I bought a used kit that didn't come with them. I went to the hardware store and found a flanged head M8x1.25 bolt and purchased a 20mm one. The stock bolt is 24mm. That didn't fit so I purchased a 16mm. That fit in, but wasn't long enough to engage the threads in the head. So now what? What have other people done? I have an email in to Greddy but I'm not expecting much help from them. Thanks for any help.

YAY!! I will be joining this thread this weekend.. I ordered a Greddy kit with type 24 and upgraded to some 450cc injectors.. Now just gotta save up for the Hondata and ditch the blue box junk.. What is the safest amount of boost to run on stock internals with this kit? I had a Drag kit on prior to this and blew my motor at 10 psi.. Was hoping to run at least 9 psi with this since it is a smaller turbo with not as much power.. This time I got a good tuner also .. |

No, just street tuned for now. I want to get to a dyno sometime this summer. Will probably do this after I buy a boost controller.

Anyone have any problems with the install. My tranny almost hits the turbine and I can't get the filter on and I have to also buy a slim fan for the AC. Running into several problems.

Greddy instructions ask for you to cut up the radiator fan shroud.
