Donny is right for OBD1 motors, you need to install that CKF sensor.

IF you buy OBD2, then you will also need to swap over the distributor assuming you are going to reuse the exhaust manifold and O2 sensor thats in the car. The OBD2 plugs on the VTEC solenoid are a different style, so you'll need to swap those plugs over as well. OBD0 B16's also have a different style oil Idiot light sender in the back of the block.

My opinion: get atleast a '92 or newer motor and save yourself the hassle. I cant remember if the B16's from the 92-93 Integra's have the current plug style, so I'd get an SiR-2 motor if available.

It really depends on your emission testing requirements...
It sure is a hell of a lot easier to pass emissions (IF required) when you leave all the OBDII stuff in the car/motor and just swap the ECU back when it comes time for testing...

I am also looking to do something similar. Have a 99 SI as well and was looking for just a short block. If I get a jdm short block can I mate it to my usdm tranny and head? I know the CKF Sensor bypass would be in order, but anything else major? I shouldn't have to switch the dizzy because i'm using the obd2 wire harness from the SI, right?

Thx
