Ya it probably won't affect me much at all as I'm rarely out later in the night but I still do not want to be regulated by a curfew.

8PM curfew will only hurt businesses (restaurants will hurt even more). Ya sure, if I want my milk or vodka or whatever I'll adjust my already tight schedule balancing work and home schooling with the kids but I feel this will just bottle neck people to rush on the weekends to get shit and then have more people huddled together at the same time.

But like I said before, will probably not affect me specifically but I do feel for others and I don't think it will make that much of a difference for the better on the spread of the virus.

too much covid denile still. needs to be addressed daily.
had a friend come uptown yesterday to go chair shopping. I cant even bother at this point anymore. anytime covid comes up he says "its like the flu". okay then.
lots of selfishness as usual. i'll just keep doing me. staying home and keeping mine safe. if everyone wants to keep going out and dragging out the lockdown meanwhile crying that they can't go out or still keep going out anyways then be my guest. i'll be at home working out. they better pray they don't need to go to the hospital.

Think about regular flu vacinnes, and how we keep getting different strains every year and how they have to adapt the shot to make it more effective.

We haven't gotten rid of the flu but managed to live with it.

Thats my realization with Covid, it may be here to stay and we just have to keep it at bay.

No flu (at least in my lifetime) has caused the entire world to shutdown ... for ... a year?

SARS? MERS? HIV/AIDS? I mean, yeah, the world as a whole 'life goes on' with them but ... they never really shut down my ability to buy a Big Mac though... ...

The curfew will suck as for me as I go to do my grocery shop at night before close to avoid the crowd. It is what it is. Will probably just go during early morning when people are working.

You do know the Spanish flu was much more devastating compared to Covid so far? I know you weren't around for it, but so far (thankfully) this is more of an inconvenience for the younger generation.

My point was, something like the "flu" virus has never been eradicated because of all the strains and mutations the virus goes through. Not trying to be a debbie downer I just want to mentally prepare if we can't wipe it completely but rather reduce it's impact as a whole.

And last I checked you can still buy a big mac? (if that's what really matters)

I don't know anywhere that is running Moderna yet... so yeah, probably Pfizer.
I'll be getting the Pfizer dose at Sunnybrook.

Exactly. Sometimes I wish they pulled the plug like china and australia. Sure it would really suck for a few months but I rather go through that than this saga.

1. Kid doing online school for part of the day then building levels in Super Mario Maker LMAO
2. Other kind in daycare

Not gonna lie, I see a change when they are at home. This is gonna fuck alot of kids in the long run, menatl health issues galore

2 parents and 3 kids working from their own desks and computers = a shit show.

Kids are always getting up either to stretch, change rooms, come and ask us for a snack, bust balls etc

My wife makes sure they go outside during their lunch break. We've got a no video-game/tablet/youtube rule for weekdays, lets see how long it lasts.

The blessing here is for those kids with siblings, I think they are managing ok based on myself and my peer group. The ones with only 1 kid, this is probably a little more difficult \:\(

Wife and I at home, 3 kids each with their own desk & computer on different floors. Have to handhold the twins a bit as the teachers do some stuff on the fly like go to website yyy and access link with different id..etc.

Our biggest issue is giving them outside time. Wife and i will be on calls/meetings so they will pretty much be inside all the time on "recess" or lunch.

Dunno how much quality work is going on but they are atleast online with a teacher most of the time.

I can easily see this home schooling going on until after March break at this point.

my daughter has been doing online school since the start but for xmas we set her the fuck up in her room. basically got rid of a big unnecessary clothes wardrobe, got her a laptop, gf set her up a nice pintrest looking tent with soft pillows and shit, and we got her a desk and nice chair for her to do her online school. so now she has a place to do her school and roblux the other 99% of the time lol

gf works from home so no babysitting or daycare, my kid is almost 11, i feelz for you guys with small kids that need to be entertained all the time.
