I currently use Optimum Nutrition, both whey isolate and casein. I've been using them for about 9 months now. Since about 2 months ago they've been making me have unbearable farts. Constant and paint-peeling. My food diet has not changed. Im getting low on supplies and am about to order some more. Any recommendations? |

Changing brands isn't going to help. |

Protein doesn't make me gassy at all. Does yours have lactose? |

Google protein farts. It's just a thing that happens. |

Nothing will help, but trutein is the bomb. |

casein sucks, just use hydrolyzed or micronized whey protein isolate. you're probably lactose intolerant. |

+1 on Trutein bomb status |

Try reducing the amount of protein you take, or spread out the dosage. I take protein, Optimum Casein, as a meal replacement but slightly less than a full serving and don't have a problem with gas even being lactose intolerant. |

Lactose was an issue for me when I overdid it. Get whey isolate and drink/eat moderate amounts of dairy and problem solved. |

Figured it out. I stopped eating oatmeal...that's what was doing it. |
