	Driving back home in bumper to bumper traffic. I got distracted, looked down to get something, and as I started looking up, I hit a car. I was in second gear at pretty low rpm, so moving probably about 20mph tops. Other car was an SUV, so not a lot of damage on her behalf. My car is as follows: cracked bumper, cracked hood, damaged header panel (where the headlights mount). The good news: I don't think there is any frame damage or anything like that. I've already mounted stock hood on it, and it mounted up flush, so I know that's good. I also have a factory cobra bumper sitting in the garage as well, it just needs paint. I was going to replace the aftermarket piece that's on there, and I guess now it's a good time. Header panel I can get for 50 bucks tops, so that's probably not a problem either.

	Way to go, you were probably talking and texting and doing your nails. Fucking women drivers causing all the accidents Srsly tho, that's an amazingly small amount of damage to sustain in a rear-end accident. All things considered, you're incredibly lucky. It would've been tragic for there to have been any real damage IMHO

	That would be a travesty. But seriously, if the airbags would have popped, that would be a lot harder to repair. But seriously, I think I will have it back on the road today in more or less driving condition. I'm about to start combing places for the header panel, hopefully I'll find one cheap. Update: Just called a local body part supply place, which sells stuff to body shops, they have a header panel for 38 dollars. I've placed one on will call. I'll post more when I'll put the car back together.

	Another update: bought and installed a new header panel. Fitment is not that great, gonna have to work on that later, hood still closes fine, as it used to before. I had to straighten a few brackets, some of that radiator shielding I've built a while ago. The OEM bumper did not mount all that great either, but I'm gonna let the paint shop deal with it.

	Just got the car back from paint, and it looks fantastic!!! The paint is a perfect match, the body gaps are excellent, really impressed with the body shop I've chosen. Best part is it's local to me, so I walked over there to pick it up.
