Becoming a Fiat subsidiary is probably Chrysler's only shot at long term survival at the moment. I just hope they do as well with Ma Mopar as Renault has done with reviving Nissan. It's be weird if I became a fanboi again after leaving the company.
They want production capacity in the US since the even the Dreaded UAW is cheaper than building in Italy and shipping here. Plus, the Chrysler/Dodge dealers aren't busy doing anything else, I'm sure plenty of them would welcome another marque.
Leno was here last month. I was going to buy my mom tickets for her B-day, but it was too much $$$ and they were on vacation. I don't think his routine would be that great - but he'd just be a cool guy to see live.
Maher was quite good live - though he did use a lot of older material. I'm sure that plays well here since we only just got HBO a few months ago so most people don't know that much about his recent work (HBO is one of those channels that eluded Canada forever).
He's one of those guys who I don't agree with on every point, but he still makes sense, is funny and is realistic on a lot of issues.
Or just leave it as is and let us have it. Suspension, motor, interior and all. Add/change whatever they have to to make it legal here, but leave as much of it alone as possible.
