Went to the roof of the parking garage of the local casino a few days ago. Looking to the right, you are just about eye-level with a highway, and the light rail system runs down below. I wanted to try out some panning shots. These are shot with 5d3 + 100-400 lens at 400mm and 385mm handheld. The light rail shot also used a 1.4x teleconverter. I used narrowed apertures to knock down the shutter speed to 1/25. Used stabilizer mode 2 on the lens.
