Orders in. Just kidding Shot a vintage triumph built to run the Baja 1000 this weekend on Saturday with the d800. That buffer fills up and don't wanna empty out. Time for the ultra mega cards... |

I know it isn't always about the megapickles, but i'm a little confused why they left it at 16mp, especially considering the D800 has 34 or 36 (can't remember) and captures some amazing details. Is it strictly speed/burst? |

It's so the sensor can shoot faster and at higher ISO, sports camera. The D800 is more of a studio/still life camera. Side note: I heard a while ago that Nikon patented the idea of a body with interchangeable sensors... THAT is something I would love to see. You could have one pro body and swap the sensor for different uses, how fucking sweet would that be...! Nate |

Nate Ricoh has had the lenses with sensors that you swap on the body, but just fully modular body/sensor/lens elements would be awesome. Processing reacts to the D4 sensor and adjusts fps, swap to the D800, adjusts to a lower rate... Same button layout and handling...yeah that'd be awesome. |

there's already assholes in my Facebook groups comparing mirrorless systems to this, whining about it not having 4k video, it's just an incremental upgrade... fuck off. |

Sensor controls a lot more than just ISO. Resolution, frame rate, color depth... Nate |
