Need help with my B16A swap to pass emission..

my bro bought a EK 97 hatch that came with a B16a from 99 Si.. The ECU is from a Integra Type R. Not sure what year...

my bro detuned the car...put stock muffler+pipe on...He even detuned the ECU.. Not sure what he did, but he said he flashed it.... Failed the emission test twice. We were told, the car pushed out too much air...meaning too much exhaust gas probably. He gave up and is handing the car over to me to keep..

I did a research here and seems like I'll need to hook up the OBDII sensor? Will I need a stock 99 Si ECU? I'm not a honda person..I'm a toyota guy, so don't know much about Hondas..

What are your readings ?...

TOO MUCH air isn't really a spec...

what do u mean..where am i at and what am i reading?

all the motor has is a short ram intake.... no internals done to it...

how did he detune the ecu? you can't really do anything to an obd2 ecu.

not sure... my bro said the dude reprogrammed the ecu... anyone got a spare 99-00 ecu they wanna trade me or sell?
