$310 for a personalized plates?

Is it just me or is $310 for a set of personalized plates expensive? I'd love to order one, but $310 can buy a couple of accessories for the car.

I'd be shocked if Brampton wasn't the personalized plate capital of Ontario. Seems like every other car has some Indian dude's name on it.... or is a remake of the plate they had in India.

I paid around what risky paid, can't remember the exact amount and at the time I thought that was expensive.

Looks like Ford's plates are a fail and they are going back to the standard issue white ones.
I had high hopes for the dark ones, but they ended up looking like shit. The white plates were pretty clean/well built (except some of the B series), good to have the whites back

A lot of people are claiming "fail" on the part of the government. I'm thinking the fault lays more with the manufacturer unless the government was somehow involved in the QA process.
Anyone know if you can still get your B series white plates replaced if they have been bubbling and peeling?

That's a personalized plate, otherwise you'd see the Crown in between the space.
