Re: After 17 yrs...gas nozzle locking clips are ... back

yeah, i have noticed some stations with them more often, lame news day otherwise i guess.

i don't mind them, nice for keeping your hands warm in your pockets during the winter if no gloves on. who the fuck drives away with the nozzle still in the tank? - those ladies must have had their reasons...

but i can see an issue where ppl will be on their cell phones waiting for the tank to fill up. and you'll have station attendants bitching at them to get off the phone. cell phones were not exactly common folk items 17yrs ago.

They’ve been missing for a long time. Can’t even use the gas cap to hold the trigger since mine are all tethered lol

They got this stuff in the States...
Not sure what it does, but It wouldn't pump if you don't insert it perfectly.
I was trying to pump it for 30-40 second then worked when I re-inserted it.

the gas stations i frequent put them back a few years ago - how's this even newsworthy?

a must-have for those -20 days / crazy wind chills when you gotta fill up (yup, I will get back in my car)

Screw the locking clips, they need to increase the fueling rates of some pumps. I've got one high flow diesel pump near me that's awesome. At least a litre per second, I fill my car in no time, lol.
