Recommend luxo sedan $15-25k

So the vehicle got into a gang bang, and it's toast. FML. Ideally my car was supposed to last another ~3 yrs at least.

Needs:
- sedan
- < 4 yrs old (if at all possible)
- auto
- < 100km
- 4-cyl preferred (gas, not opposed to premium gas but will go cheap and use 89 or Costco 91)
- FWD or AWD
- leather, power seats, moonroof, etc.
- HIDs (or low beam halogen projectors so I can retro)
- backup camera (will be installed if not standard)
- fold-down rear seats (for moving shit)
- prefer Acura/Honda reliability

Stuff like in-dash maps, Apple CarPlay, lane assist, blind-spot monitor, etc are a big plus but likely out of budget ATM.

Likely pick this up via a non-shady dealer, so assume some markup.

I seem to be leaning towards an Acura TLX at this point. ILX I've test driven and the interior is really hard plastic, and just overall cheap feeling, despite it having some tech goodies.

I'm not opposed to a smaller SUV, but wife has the Q5, and I feel like a midget getting in and out of it.

Thots?

Re: Recommend luxo sedan $15-25k

sounds like you're buying a tlx. welcome to the club lol

the first gen (2015-2017 pre facelift) is probably where you want to be. has everything except android auto and fall right into your budget at around 20k for an off lease one. i suggest going for a 4 banger tech because the DCT trans is more reliable than the v6's trans, 4ws makes the car nimble or you can go with the v6 SH-AWD which has power but feel like a heavy car.

the 15-17 tlx tech has:

-bluetooth, ELS sound system with sub and GPS
-lane keep assist
-lane departure warning
-heated windshield
-heated steering wheel
-auto starter
-heated front/rear seats
-power folding mirrors
-led headlights
-back up camera
-blind spot monitors

and are around the 20k mark for around 80xxxkms.

^ /thread

Or the Accord Sport, personally I like the Accord better than the TLX and you might get apple car play in your budget.

I think the CRV and Odyssey are their nicest cars.

Probably bought a car thinking it was AWD but turned out to be front wheel drive.
