I offically am a

Married man. Wedding day was Sept 2nd.
Planned it out for a year. Executed perfectly. It's only NOW that all family and friends have flown out. It's only now that i've had a good full night of sleep.
I don't normally wear jewellery, this ring. How the frig do you guys wear it? I keep clinging this everywhere i go. Do you guys take it off before showers? bedtime? Or just leave it on 24/7? wouldn't it get smelly?

Congrats and condolences at the same time
Ring yeah got used to it eventually (made it thinner than planned, to thick is annoying). I wear it only in the day to work or our weekends/weeknights if going someplace half-decent.

I wear it all the time, except when washing the car.
Feels weird when I don't have it on.
It's next to my iron ring - they don't clang or anything -- doesn't bother me.

I wear a pretty thick tungsten ring, it's like a boat anchor. On 24/7, don't know if it will even come off at this point

My wife and I made ours..mine is a thick 18k white gold. It's massive. I mean i smack that everywhere ..lol.
It's not super tight, enough to take off.
I've now taken this off almost everytime i'm home or when i go to the gym.

As for wedding ring, I have a 10k white gold. Was being pitched 24k.....eff that noise. Get me the cheapest gold so when I lose it, it won't be as $$$ to replace.

It was nothing catastrophic like cheating or abuse or anything. We tried to work it out but she was done. I've come to accept it and am moving on. It's hard on the kids but we're doing our best.

My parents divorcing was the best thing that ever happened. Living in a dysfunctional household was a nightmare.

useto be that kids with divorced parents were the odd ones out. my parents and 1 other kid in class had divorced parents. these days everyone's parents are divorced, the odd ones out are the ones with same sex parents.
