Re: aftermarket warranty on vehicles

You are wasting your time and money on the aftermarket warranty. It may appear to be a good coverage on paper, but when shit hits the fan you'll realize that part isn't covered under warranty or you have to pay half of the cost on the warranty repairs. Save your money dude.

Wayne, should just call Alex next week and see if he can give you a slight discount on the ones we deal with?

Re: aftermarket warranty on vehicles

I am not sure everybody's view on warranties are applicable in this case.
To be clear, Wayne, are you talking about buying a warranty for a Mini?
If yes, then do it. It is a necessity XD

Re: aftermarket warranty on vehicles

If wife decides to keep this past the 4 year / 80k comprehensive, I don't have time or patience to wrench on two cars. She kept her legacy for 7 years and sold with 108k. The mini was 4 years 4 months, traded with 52k.

This does have a heated steering wheel :D, and lots of toys, so she might keep it longer. Even at 20k/yr, she'd be at 140k in 7 years. The quote from Insurall was roughly $1700 for 3 additional years up to 150k km, I am not sure about the company, though they seem to have a good BBB rating.

I look forward to the windshield not cracking spontaneously (both flexin and dumbass had the same problem )

Re: aftermarket warranty on vehicles

not sure if its really necessary to go that far, but its possible depending on whats needed to access the mounting screws.

At that point you might as well pay a bit extra and change your EVAP lol, since warranty would cover most of the labour.

White is a shade bra.

Why don't you buy the BMW warranty? This is some weird ass logic buying 3rd party on a bran new car.

I'd wait until manufacturer's warranty is almost done, and get third-party then.
