I went to lunch with a co-worker in his vette convertible on Wednesday. It was nothing but hot air coming at us. Even driving fast, the airflow wasn't cooling at all. I wanted to tell him to just put the top back up and turn on the A/C. So glad when I got back into my RDX at the end of the day. Auto climate control rocks! I just wish I had the Tesla Model X's "bio defense" mode air filters to get rid of the occasional dead skunk smell in some areas. Not sure how bikers put up with this heat during daytime. Even at full speed it's just a wall of heat slamming in your face. |

figured most ppl know this already yeah. s2k had a top-down hvac setting, it helped a bit. but yeah if it the nasty humid-hot i'd usually say fuck it and put top up with a/c. but most of the time, would have it down...otherwise what's the point to having a vert. it'd still be cool air for a/c even in this weather...maybe the vette a/c no good? no point using re-circ like normal covered car when your top is down lol...so basically "you get what you get" for a/c cold air. it's harder to cool if it's stupid humid out doe. |

You have a few months to enjoy the open air experience, why not take advantage of it if you can. |

Top down A/C on Problem solved. My buddy does it with his truck sometimes. Actually it's quite pleasant on some occasions. Warm breeze coming from outside, max cool air inside, 15% of thunderstorms in the GTA came from his truck. |

Before parking your car, turn the AC off, run the fan for 30 second ish. Never get that mold smell. My car is 18 years old, always done that, never smelled. I usually shut the AC off few hundreds meter from the destination, or blast the fan for few seconds before getting out. |

I drove my S in 35c temperature with no AC on. Why? Because summer and I bought the car to drive with the top down |

in summer I always have the windows down, if it gets too hot, i'll put the ac on with the windown down. summer is only here for so long. |

Fuck that AC is on all the time in the car. Except for morning (6am) and evenings if I'm working late. |
