Canadian based online auto parts store

Beside Autopartsway.ca and Rockauto Canada, are there any other options?
I need to get a new front reinforcement bar for my car, I found out mine is rotted since the car was new, need a new one or used one from scrap yard.

TIA \:\)

I keep buying from rockauto.com, it's still cheaper with FX than other local pricing. Maybe eddie82 has a cheaper source, I haven't found it yet.

http://www.hotspotautoparts.com/

They have a warehouse in Scarborough. Huge selection of parts.
I was even able to buy rebuilt calipers for my S30 from them!

I called Hot Spot Auto, they don't have the reinforcement bar. The dude on the phone said if they don't have it, chances are the other Canadian online store won't have it too \:\(

Re: Canadian based online auto parts store

question - you mention scrap yard. Why not call a couple of them?
Standard auto is the most central in the gta. they keep the newer cars in a separate area and pull parts down for you. their website has a pretty good handle on their inventory iirc

it'll be hard to find the rebar beam from a jobber shop as such...usually you can only find body panels.

your only bet is probably from the dealer...talk to the parts mngr to see if he can do like "net" price +10-15%...most dlr's will do this for customers anyways. if your local dealer doesn't call one who will.

but +1 calling scrap yard first, just call Standard and they can check if they have stock of that beam (already pulled) and it's in their storage/shelving area. or go there and check the yard for your make/model (maybe they can even tell you if they have the car in the yard...or check their website).

Car-part.com.

All these stores above use world pac warehouses. Can't say I've seen bumper rebar listed at any of them.

What's the dealer cost ? Have you called to a quote. It may be less than you think and cheaper than used.
