I dunno about that. Who here actually buys homes and flips them? I know a few ppl who do and it hasn't been a problem. Location counts bra. And u said house, not condo. So if we are talking houses, I beg to differ. What's better? Rrsp? Returns are not the same,nor is it recession proof.

I didn't read the rest of the article, did see above that they haven't sold yet. Just sell and downsize. Since they bought in 2011, probably more than enough profit to be living comfortably in a semi or townhouse.
