Anyone have netflix? How do you like it. I'm seriously considering dropping cable, upping my internet capacity and getting netflix. I would just run OTA too. |

I've been OTA for over 3 years now. I have netflix but proxy to use the US one since there's more content and I also download all my shows via newsgroups which has been automated thanks to sabnzbd and sickbeard. |

I get about 20 channels using a 4 bay channel master with amp. OTA HD is great without the high compression that cable does. |

I have the 8 bay channel master, i have it mounted on my patio temporarily and with all the obstructions I get 19 channels. Hoping to get about 24 once it's on the roof as per tvfool.com What's this newgroup business? I usually download all movies/shows from torrent sites and that's it. Had netflix, it sucked, so it's just an OTA antenna and downloads now with a dedicated laptop for the TV. |

Love this poverty talk! Newsgroups require a monthly subscription or you can buy blocks (GB) if you aren't a heavy Downloader. MG are so easy to use now compared to the old days. You think of them as torrents. I only torrent when I have to. |

To those that have gotten rid of cable, why not go with Kodi (XBMC)? |

It depends what kind of TV is watched in your home to determine what you need to suit the desires of the audience. If you only watch network television, then those 19 channels may be gold. If you only watch discovery and hgtv, you need something else. |
