Vintage suit rentals?

I've got a 1920's era lingerie party I've been invited to and want to make sure I'm not the only schmuck that doesn't look the part (Think Boardwalk Empire).. Any of you guys know a place I might be able to rent something like this?

Re: Vintage suit rentals?

As for the rental, you might have to find a local costume store that rent out suits/costumes

Wear your birthday suit.

Take pics of everything (except for you in your birthday suit)

Re: Vintage suit rentals?

your first mistake is wearing a suit to a lingerie party ;\)

just wear a 3 pcs double breasted number, dress it up with a flask and a pocket watch. no one is going to call you out that it's not vintage lol

Re: Vintage suit rentals?

we had a Great Gatsby theme for last year's christmas party. i went to party city and bought a blue striped fedora that was very close to the colour of my suit.

was only $10 and really topped off the outfit.

also shaved my moustache so it was pencil thin like the good ol' days

Tried VV last night, lots of killer coats but no complete suits

I wish I had more time, I'd just order the one I posted above (About $350)

Re: Vintage suit rentals?

you'll have to trek to downtown tranna if you want a place that sells this shit.

won't be VV prices either.

you're not going to find a dress shirt with a removable collar in VV, and the removeable collar is probably one of the key pieces if you want something that looks out of a set of boardwalk empire. The suit and all that, as long as it fits and has high armholes, u'r fine.
