The city just cut down a bunch of trees on my street

Fucking emerald ash borer.

Lost close to 10 mature 40 year old trees on my street alone. Street looks like sh!t now. They will replant new ones, but it sucks.

The trees on my inlaws' street all got ruined. Pretty much every single tree was cut down. I dunno if it was due to the EAB or due to the ice storm.

There are a whole bunch on our street as well. They are all marked with orange paint, so I assume that they'll be cut down soon. Too bad cause the street just looks strange without them.

The ex had an old tree stump right in the middle of her yard... One day I went all GIJoe on it with my ghetto 12V cordless tools and a hammer. Chipped away at that shit... It ended up being like a pile of sawdust... In that shit were a buncha emerald green little bugs... They didn't move, but if you sit tight, they're just playing dead. Threw them onto the driveway, and few mins later some birds picked em up

man fuck maple trees. within the two years i've been at the house my two maples grew about 4-5x in size. shit is a pain in the ass to clean up.

EAB killed 4 of my trees in my backyard alone. GNSP that I'll have to pay a pro to cut it down. I wish I could cut it down, but no way I'll pull a risky and risk having a big massive tree fall into my neighbour's backyard or worse onto their house.

all the trees on my street were lost due to the ice storm.
streets around me are fine. none left on my street

the street outside my parents street did that too.

i drove there to drop some cha siu off to them a couple of weeks ago and i was like "wtf why is the street so bright", then I realize the canopy of trees were gone
