Just went down significantly!!! The stupid Civic went from $1300 to $988, Volt $1500ish to $1049 and the M3 went from $1450 to $1340. I was afraid to look at my renewal lol |

What company |
Desjardins. I was with TDMM and they were bending me over. |
Wow, that's pretty damn good. I just put the S back on the road yesterday - the guy mentioned that when my renewal comes around (Aug.) - for all 3, it'd be about $4200 / yr. (that's about $1200 more than you) What kind of coverage do you have? and what about your profile? (i.e. distance to work, annual mileage, etc.) |
Dude that's amazing rate! |
The M will actually be cheaper since it will be off the road come end of October |
Did you call them straight up or have a broker? I guess I'll invest some time to call them up next week! |
I actually did online quotes with kanetix lol. Tried a broker and he was fucking useless. |

I'm with johnson insurance, and for me in a bramgladesh area code, Johnson insurance was cheaper than desjardins a couple years ago. |

Mine dropped as well. Roughly the same as what your civic dropped |
Mine went down last month about 25% with Aviva |
Wohoo - mine went down again '03 s2k - $1284 ($107 / month) '10 x3 - $1175 ($98 / month) total - $2459 (last year, total of these 2 combined were $2787) + '08 535i - $1507 ($126 / month) total $3966 ($331/ month -- if i were to renew all 3 on the road -- will take s2k off the road in Oct.) |
If I kept the M3 on the road year around I would be at $3600/yr. I'm taking the M off the road in October as well and that should save me $600. Can't believe summer is almost over already. |

wtf why so cheap? my boring family sedan is just over 1800 a year @.@ |
Chocolate and Hatorade are the only people I can think of getting $1000/year insurance on a car that worth over $40K. I am lucky to get car insurance under $1500 |
^Is it living location? I don't get it @_@ |
Last I remeber NY and Markham were fairly close for rates. Actually NY was cheaper. |
Are you bundled with house and second car? I did a quote on a '12 S4 and it was 1450 or so for full coverage. Toronto insurance is cheaper usually than 905. |
dafack? I'm using TD group insurance rates through meloche monex. The price decrease from my original broker is CRAZY (over 600 a year savings). This is also bundled with a 2nd car and the house. Despite that, I'm still not seeing these 1450 numbers @_@ |
I am with TDMM as well. I get some extra discounts for being a designated accountant, they say it's an additional 15% off |
Fucking insurance is so BS. You could call in twice the same day and get different quotes LOL |

That's a good rate. My '13 S5 is 1800, as well as '13 M6 and '13 Cayenne. The value of the car doesn't seem like it makes a difference in premiums. |
