^^ Got Newridge refinishing (great rating on homestars.ca) to do the job. I was satisfied. Took them two days, 7AM - 5 PM to remove the carpet and casing (had casing instead of baseboard), install the underlayment and hardwood and then install new 5" baseboards with the shoe moulding.
I'm going to paint all the baseboards in the house this spring, so they didn't do that. Maybe I will list if the season looks promising, and then downsize to markham

^^ Thats in the utility room which I didn't take pictures of :D. I told my neighbours, I'm going to be sending some business your way soon ;). Neighbourhood is 20 years old, lots of furnaces and ACs on their way out

You can pick it up from anywhere that sells laminate/hardwood. This was Armstrong laminate with preattached underlayment.

Looks good, aside from the wasted money on the exercise room that will never be used it's pretty good. Sucks they didn't paint your baseboards, that's a huge pain in the ass to do. I always paint my moulding/trim before installing, once installed i fill the nail holes and just do touch up.  Having to paint those now after being installed, ughhhh good luck with that

+1 on having to do baseboards, although I think I'm just going to do new base boards rather than painting and do them myself. Maybe I just have old ass looking baseboards now LOL
