Heard about this 1-2 months back ...
There was back and forth of he-said she-said IIRC... SHS (the company that bought the rights to do all the servicing) was bitching about the amount of work promised never got that high, excessive ongoing costs, etc...
Luckily all I have with them now is outstanding warranty on my appliances (if I even need them), and $22 left on a GC (cuz GCAsian) ...
Their stores are so fucking depressing... I routinely go into their Fairview location to see wtf I could buy with the $22 I have, but fuck everything's overpriced, and selection is terrible.

The article states that sears is going to work with the couple should they decide to sell... What the problem is?
Now I'm sure in the beginning sears was brushing them off until the couple went to media
