whale penis intake or AEM v2

which is better? btw which is better 4-2-1 or 4-1 header? i know the 4-2-1 has better midrange, but does is make less hp at a higher rpm than the 4-1. i have a 99 si and am going to get I/H/E and need suggestions from experience

i have always heard that if you have a b16a2 go with 4-1 and if you have a gsr 4-2-1 cause they make it on the lower to mid range and whale penis is the way to go

I loved the K&N FIPK I had. Short ram with heat shield and CARB legal for the smog nazi's.  Great throttle response and sounded nice.

a power chamber CF intake is a definate great mod. had one on my old si you won't regret it. either that or look into a comptech ice box.
both are great choices. aem = blah

get the aem intake which is designed for the itr.
i dynoed it against my old J's style intake. it made similar midrange & more top end.

yea, the k is a nice motor & the new Si's are growing on me. But i don't see myself buying a 4th civic. I think whatever i buy next will be a little more sophisticated. If i stayed in the honda family I'd probably go TSX (its got a k-series
honestly though i've kind of lost interest in motor mods for the most part. i'm a lot more into suspension stuff now.

i lost interest too. thats why with my fg2 i just slapped bolt ons and a supercharger on it. alot simpler then tearing cylinder heads off exc lol.
less down time too.
new si's handle amazing but i feel ya on the tsx those are damn nice.

don't recommend the v2 intake to anyone, i had the lower half fall off before
