Project EM1 Restore!

well since the place is dead as a horse. I thought i may share with my fellow CSier my new Project.
I picked up yesterday a 1999 EBP EM1 shell full Interior. for 1500.
My goal for this is a DD civic. not a full out race mobile. i will post pics of said car once i get home.
Currently i am taking any donations of stock EM1 Parts. let me know what you have!

as promise here are the pics.
what do we have here!
ha dont worry about the license plate. car isnt register yet. and it will get new plates once this project is done.
work our way to the front.
during my initial inspection i didn't catch this. but i hope this is just surface rust.
Plans right now are to strip it down ( interior and exterior ) . and repair the radiator support and repaint the engine bay.

Too bad it wasn't a FBP to start with like your old one. But then again you are engineless this time you could get the engine bay to match the CW and hide the EBP.

Should just leave it EBP...since the last one was black it wasn't as crucial to get in every square inch while painting but if you paint that thing there are going to be blue bits everywhere (unless you completely tear down the car.) Scuff the clearcoat down and have a flat clear sprayed so you will have a matte finish EBP..never seen that before.

Nice build. I have the rear quarter panel interiors and seat belts off my EM1. Hit me up if you want them. I may have other parts lying around but I have to check haha.
