I just got the 08 SI sedan with navi, I want to add a back up camerea and have it go through the navi screen. Is this possible, has anyone done this yet? I want it to look like it came from the factory, I don't want some cheese ball thing in the mirror or anything like that. Thanks for the input.

I don't think it's been done yet (I believe that Navi has an abnormal refresh rate). You'd have to take apart the nav unit and tap into the screen input. Most factory units are designed without an aux input due to safety concerns.

So, do you think even if it is possible that it wouldn't work that great because of the abnormal rate? How hard is that radio to get out? Maybe I can check if it has the inputs. I was kinda thinking that since it has the input for the Ipod that maybe there was a way to use that input, but I think that is audio only?

Yep that's an audio input only. Unless you know someone with a degree in Electrical Engineering, I'd suggest leaving the unit alone.

I was hoping I wouldn't hear that. There's gotta be a way to add it without replacing the unit. Thanks for the help, I appreciate it.

A friend of mine has a Acura MDX(05 I think). The Navi looks exactly the same as ours and it displays the backup camera.
